The Single Shot Fixed Magazine Device drops in from the top of your lower receiver when the action is disassembled.  This ammunition feeding device offers a simple and economical solution for converting your semi-automatic rifle or pistol to a single shot configuration.

For most AR type rifles, disassembling the action just means that you need to disengage the rear takedown pin and "shotgun" the upper receiver forward on the front takedown pin.  The single shot fixed magazine device  cannot be removed or inserted unless the action is disassembled in that fashion.
